Over $60,000 was raised for fallen Worcester firefighter Christopher Roy's daughter at the Boston Bruins game Sunday night.
According to the Worcester Fire Fighters Local 1009 Twitter, the 50/50 raffle at the Bruins game reached $112,845, half of which will go to the Ava Roy Fund.
The fund was founded for Christopher Roy's 9-year-old daughter. Roy was killed last weekend while battling a house fire in Worcester.
Firefighters from across the state volunteered at TD Garden in Boston Sunday night to sell the raffle tickets.
The Bruins lost to the Buffalo Sabres 4-2.
