A Temporary Cold Front Moves In

Frost and freeze headlines up for northern New England through Sunday morning. Temperatures will drop into the 30s and 40s up there overnight. Coastal communities will be slightly warmer since ocean water temperatures are still in the 60s.

You can expect mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 60s on Sunday. A weak cold front will move through during the day. Temperatures will be even cooler by Monday. High temperatures will only reach the 50s.

Unsettled weather will return on Tuesday. A round of locally heavy rain is possible with a warm front lifting north. Wednesday much of New England will be in the warm sector with temperatures in the upper 70s and even low 80s. Showers will stick around through the day on Wednesday.

We will gradually dry out through the remainder of the week. Temperatures will stay in the upper 60s and low 70s. Next weekend looks bright and beautiful, but a little cool.
