Looks like American Provisions is about to get even better!
The specialty food and wine shop has proposed a 28-seat wine bar and small kitchen as part of an expansion into the vacant space located right next door.
Next week, owners Matt Thayer and Andy Fadous will appear before the City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeals to see if the use be changed from nail shop to restaurant.
American Provisions presented their plans to abutters last month and received neighborhood support. If all goes well, the wine bar will open in the fall.
American Provisions opened its second location in Dorchester earlier this year.
In other food news, Purple Shell is opening in the summer.
