Train service was impacted Monday evening after debris fell onto the tracks near a Boston bridge.
Keolis officials said parts of a sidewall near the Albany Street Bridge fell onto the tracks around 7 p.m., heavily impacting one of the three tracks in the area.
Jason Abrams, an Amtrak spokesperson, said debris on track two was blocking trains from passing on that track, causing train traffic to be diverted to the other two functioning tracks.
Shortly after the debris fell, Abrams said track three was good to operate at normal speed, while track one was OK for restricted speed.
The debris issue caused several delays on Commuter Rail service. Trains were operating anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes behind schedule as crews assessed the damage.
The Commuter Rail, the MBTA's Orange Line and Amtrak trains operate on those tracks.
Keolis said that the heavy rain is most likely the reason for all the damage to the sidewall.

Crews could be seen working late Monday night to make necessary repairs and remove speed restrictions. By Tuesday morning, the track had been cleared of debris and was not expected to impact the morning commute.
No one was hurt by the falling bricks.
