Another Truck Gets 'Storrowed' in Boston

How Not to Get 'Storrowed' This Move-In Season

Storrow Drive is known to Bostonians for being a parkway with an very unforgiving height limit, yet despite the warning signs, the low bridges still claim an array of unsuspecting box trucks. (Published Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017)

Traffic was being diverted after yet another truck hit a Storrow Drive overpass Friday afternoon in Boston.

Massachusetts State Police said the ramp from Storrow Drive westbound to Kenmore Square was closed after the truck hit a westbound-side overpass and rolled over.

Traffic was being detoured onto Storrow Drive westbound.

It's not clear if the driver was injured.

There's no timeframe for when the road will reopen.

Accidents like these are not uncommon in Boston.

Storrow Drive's low bridges typically claim several victims a year, especially on college move-in day when there are more people who are unfamiliar with the area driving around.
