A suburban Italian restaurant that was featured on our sister site has shut down, and another Italian dining spot has moved into its space.
A check on the place this week indicates that Arcenia's Cucina Rustica in Woburn Center is no longer in business, with a new restaurant called Fortunato's now open in the space. A check on the menu indicates that Fortunato's offers a mix of regional and traditional Italian items, including antipasti, pizza, calzones, pasta dishes, and veal and chicken options. It appears that the changeover from Arcenia's to Fortunato's may have happened over the summer.
Arcenia's Cucina Rustica was mentioned on the Boston's Hidden Restaurants site as a little-known spot to go to for wood-fired pizza and Southern Italian dishes, with the link to the review being found here:
The address for the now-closed Arcenia's Cucina Rustica (and the now-open Fortunato's) is 428 Main Street, Woburn, MA, 01801. The website for Fortunato's can be found at https://fortunatositaliancuisine.com/
