Art In the City: Dot Art Project

"Can't You See How Hard I'm Working" is a new group art show that will be on exhibit April 7-May 5 at the Dorchester Art Project studio.

The Dorchester Art Project celebrates artists living, working and creating in the neighborhood. This new exhibition will feature 17 local artists sharing their talented works of art, created right here in our city.

Why not do something different this weekend and check them out? It's a great way to show our local artists how much we appreciate them working so hard!

Opening Reception: Saturday, April 7 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

Artists featured will be: Ben Foley. Will Whelan. Rebeccah Stromberg. Shira Espo. Anya Smolnikova. Taylor Mortell. Lilly Saywitz. Jamal Thorne. David Taylor. Joanna Tam. Jenny Bergman. Sam Schultz. Grete Langrind. Solei. Sophia Nora Giordano. Mairead Murphy. Alexandria Nazar.

Gallery Hours: 12-6pm Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. Email dorchesterartproject@gmail.com

Dorchester Art Project studio located at 1486 Dorchester Ave. #2.

Dorchester Art Project is an artist-run space in Dorchester, Boston's largest neighborhood. Housing fourteen artists’ studios, a gallery, and a performance space, DAP supports innovative artistic practice outside of the city’s academic institutions and commercial galleries. By providing an alternative space for critically engaged, experimental and emerging artists across disciplines, we seek to foster new connections across Boston’s diverse art communities.
