Two separate crashes caused delays Wednesday on Interstate 495 in two Massachusetts towns just 10 minutes away from each other.
At least one person was hospitalized following a crash in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Just one lane was open on I-495 northbound during the investigation, causing a severe backup for commuters.
The vehicle appeared to have a tree and landed under an overpass.
Aerial footage from NBC10 Boston's Sky Ranger Helicopter showed at least one person being transported from the car into a stretcher. The vehicle appeared to have been significantly damaged.
In Foxborough, another driver was hospitalized due to a separate crash near Exit 14. The eft and middle lanes were closed as a result of the "serious" crash, accoridng to state police.
Both scenes have since been cleared.
Details on what led up to both crashes were not immediately clear.

Officials have not offered details on the victims in both crashes. The severity of their injuries is unclear.
