Beacon St. Locale in Boston Has Closed

A Back Bay restaurant and bar that replaced a longtime Irish pub last year has shut down.

Eater Boston confirms that a source told us a few days ago, that Beacon St. Locale is no longer in business, with a "No Trespassing" sign posted out front. No reason has been given for the closure of the dining and drinking spot as of yet; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

Beacon St. Locale first opened in April of 2017, replacing Crossroads Irish Pub, which had actually closed twice (including in early 2013). Crossroads had been a popular spot with both Red Sox fans and college students.

The address for the now-closed Beacon St. Locale was 495 Beacon Street, Boston, MA, 02215.
