The body of a Massachusetts man who was reported missing nearly two months ago was found Thursday afternoon, according to his family.
The mother of 35-year-old Gregory Glavin told WJAR-TV that her son's remains were found under a camouflage tarp in a wooded area.
Police the Easton resident was last seen Saturday, Feb. 17, when he left a friend's house in nearby North Attleborough. He left on his maroon moped.
Glavin was reported missing a few days later sparking several searches by police and volunteers.
"I kept contacting him and there was no answer," his mother Helen Glavin told WJAR-TV. "It just went straight to voicemail and I knew something happened."
Helen Glavin said a volunteer search and rescue team came upon her son's body and his moped Thursday afternoon off Bay Road near Wright Farm and contacted police.
"They found him very, very quickly — in the same area where police said they did their search," Helen Glavin said to WJAR-TV.
