A Boston-bound flight has made an unexpected landing in Los Angeles shortly after it had departed LAX.

Officials say it was American Airlines Flight 202, which had 147 passengers and 6 crew members on board.

The pilot reported a faulty cargo light indicator in the cockpit after departing, according to the airline. The plane then turned around and landed safely.

Passengers have since deplaned, and American Airlines says they'll either repair or swap out the plane.
