Woman Injured in Dorchester Incident

Authorities are investigating after a woman was injured in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood.

Boston police initially called the incident a stabbing but later clarified the victim suffered a non-life-threatening facial injury. Officials received a call of the incident at 5:07 a.m. and responded to the area of 1331 Dot Ave. 

The woman, who police did not identify, was taken to an area hospital.

Officials said one person is in custody, but details surrounding the arrest were not immediately available.
