Boy Arrested for Threat at High School

A boy has been arrested for making threats at a Massachusetts high school.

The male juvenile is accused of making verbal threats to use a weapon to harm people at North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend.

School officials told Townsend Police around 1 p.m. on Thursday about the allegations. Police charged the child with making threats of using a weapon at school and disruption of a school assembly.

No weapons were found at the school.

Police are investigating.
