Tom Brady Says He's ‘A Little Sore' Following ‘Physical' Win Over Dolphins

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady - who missed a day of practice last week with an Achilles injury - said he's a bit "sore" but otherwise OK after a physical victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

"A little sore today, but it's kind of late in the year and that was a pretty physical game yesterday," Brady told WEEI's "Kirk & Callahan Show" on Monday. "So a little extra treatment today and I'll be ready to go next week."

Brady missed Wednesday's practice with what was termed an "Achilles injury" but returned to practice on Thursday. He battled a shoulder injury earlier this season.

He threw four touchdown passes in Sunday's 35-17 win over the Dolphins, but was pressured throughout. He was sacked just once but hit hard on several other occasions.

But Brady said he didn't think any of the hits - even a near helmet-to-helmet one from Miami defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh - were dirty.

"I don't think so," he said. "That's kind of how they play. They play aggressive - sometimes they get called, sometimes they don't."

The Patriots, now 9-2 after the Dolphins win, play the 6-5 Buffalo Bills this Sunday at 1 p.m. in Buffalo.
