Patriots Julian Edelman Surprises Cancer Patient With Hospital Visit
    Brigham and Women’s Hospital

A Massachusetts woman suffering from a rare case of cancer received a surprise visit from her favorite New England Patriots player on Wednesday.

After posting on Facebook that meeting Julian Edelman was on her bucket list, Justyna Boucher was greeted by the wide receiver in her hospital room at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

According to hospital officials, Edelman had seen the post as well as a couple of stories and wanted to surprise the 21-year-old who suffers from a very rare case of sarcoma. Boucher was diagnosed with cancer three years ago and has been in and out of hospitals since then.

Boucher wrote on Facebook that her cancer affects all of the soft tissue and bones in her body and that she has only been given 6 months to live.
