Police said an accident and subsequent fire involving a tractor trailer and an SUV Sunday morning left a Brockton woman with non-lifethreatening injuries.
The accident on Interstate 95 northbound in Attleboro at 2:36 a.m. involved a tractor trailer driven by a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, man and a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer driven by the 29-year-old Massachusetts woman.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and no charges were filed against either driver, according to state police.
The woman was taken to a Rhode Island hospital for treatment. Police did not release the name of either driver. The accident scene was cleared at about 5 a.m.
