Bruins' Chris Wagner Mocks Kyrie Irving in Instagram Comment Section

The members of Boston's professional sports fraternity are happy to support each other in public.

But all bets are off in the Instagram comment section.

Another Kyrie Irving media session made national news Monday, as the Boston Celtics guard admitted to reporters he dislikes the attention that comes with being an NBA "celebrity" and just wants to focus on basketball.

Kyrie just wants to focus on his game.

Of course, this is the same guy who built his celebrity by starring in the summer blockbuster "Uncle Drew," and the comment section on SportsCenter's Instagram post flooded with replies essentially calling Irving a hypocrite.

But get this: One of those replies came from "chriswags21" ... who you know better as Boston Bruins forward Chris Wagner.

"Ya Uncle Drew must not use cameras," Wagner deadpanned, tagging his buddy in a sarcastic swipe at Irving's selective aversion to the spotlight.

Wagner (a local kid from Walpole, Mass.) probably didn't expect his comment to get noticed, but it's a pretty rough look for Irving when even other players in his city are sick of his act.

As Irving's Celtics continue searching for their identity (and a win) after losing five of their last six, Wagner's Bruins keep rolling along, riding a 16-game point streak into Tuesday's home tilt with the Carolina Hurricanes.
