Bundle Up: Colder Temperatures Taking Over

High pressure settles in and the upper level low to our northeast that generated some snow showers today will slowly depart. Our northwesterly flow will bring more cold and dry air into New England. Overnight lows will be the coldest since Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

On Friday morning, we will start off in the teens. However, it will feel much colder when you factor in the wind chill.

A northwest wind continues to stay quite gusty through Friday afternoon. Real feel temperatures will be around zero so bundle up at the bus stop! Highs will be in the 20s by Friday afternoon with sunshine.

We stay in the 20s for Saturday and Sunday. A storm system stays well south of us on Sunday, though it will bring a few clouds across the south coast.

Temperatures for next week will warm by a few degrees. There are no major warm-ups in store and the pattern may stay pretty quiet.

A system could bring us a few snow showers Wednesday into Thursday mostly for northern New England.

The next bigger system may not arrive until the next weekend... at the end of our exclusive NBC10 Boston/necn 10-day forecast. [[287977901, C]]
