A vigil was held Wednesday evening for the Massachusetts teen who died after hitting her head when she was pushed to the ground over the weekend as her family speaks out about her life.
Fifteen-year-old Cambridge resident Richelle Robinson dreamed of becoming a paramedic, loved to dance and enjoyed makeup and getting her nails done, her family told NBC10 Boston.
"She was a very smart young lady, and very responsible," family friend DerriniQue Coleman said. "She was loved by many."
Robinson was heading to an acquaintance's home Sunday evening when she was attacked. She was taken to a local hospital, where she died the following afternoon.
No arrests have been made, and Cambridge police are asking for witnesses who may have seen Robinson get shoved to the ground at the intersection of Warren and Cambridge streets around 6:30 p.m. Sunday to come forward.
