Car Slams Into Medical Center Building After Crash in Brockton, Mass.

The driver of the vehicle that slammed into the building was cited after he allegedly caused the crash by running a red light

A multi-car crash in Brockton, Massachusetts caused a vehicle to drive into a medical center on Christmas afternoon.

The driver of a 2017 Dodge Charger was traveling north on Main Street when he allegedly drove through a red light at the intersection on Main and Centre Street. At the same time, another driver traveling east on Legion Parkway in a 2007 Toyota Rav 4 when she had a green light.

The Toyota struck the Dodge and caused it to spin, jump a curb and crash into the Neighborhood Health Center, according to Brockton police. The Dodge then struck a 2013 Chevy Captiva that was traveling north on Main Street.

Photos of the scene showed shattered glass scattered inside the building and crumbled brick.

The driver of the Dodge, a 25-year-old man, was cited for the crash. The operator of the Toyota was identified as a 58-year-old South Easton woman and the driver of the Chevy was a 29-year-old Brockton man.

No injuries were reported.
