Charlestown Dog Shop Shaken After Friday Robbery At Gunpoint

A dog shop in Charlestown is hoping surveillance video will lead to an arrest after a man robbed the shopowners at gunpoint Friday night.

"It was at 6pm, broad daylight," says WAGS co-owner Brittany Turgeonco. "There’s a hair salon downstairs, and there was like 8 people in the salon at the time."

The store has called their second floor shop on Bunker Hill Street home for more than two years and say they have never had a problem until now.

No one got a good look at the robber, as he was wearing a black hat and black ski mask that only showed his eyes and hands. This security camera footage is the best image Boston Police have to work with in their investigation.

With no one arrested, Turgeonco said it was tough opening back up Saturday morning.

"Our sense of security is completely gone," she said. "I don’t know how we’re going to ever get that back. I don’t think we will ever get that back. We feel completely violated."

The Boston police department is still investigating.
