A local group of food trucks and brick-and-mortar restaurants has gotten a bit smaller on the restaurant side, but it will soon be expanding on the food truck side.
According to an article from Eater Boston, the Allston location of Chicken & Rice Guys is no longer in operation, with CEO Ian So saying that the closure of the Harvard Avenue location was the result of a partnership that wasn't working out. An announcement was also made about the planned expansion of its food truck business, with its new truck warehouse in Everett allowing service to soon be added to Needham, Quincy, Somerville, and Waltham.
Existing brick-and-mortar locations of Chicken & Rice Guys can be found in downtown Boston (two) and Medford, while food trucks can be found in Boston, Cambridge, Burlington, and Lexington.
The address for the now-closed location of Chicken & Rice Guys in Allston was 81 Harvard Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134. The website for Chicken & Rice Guys is at http://cnrguys.com/
