Chilly Cow in Arlington Is Now Abilyn's Frozen Bakery

A suburban ice cream shop that also offered frozen custard, frozen yogurt, and more has been replaced by a new spot.

A poster on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page mentions that Chilly Cow in Arlington Center is now Abilyn's Frozen Bakery, with a note on the website for the new Mass. Ave. shop saying that it "grew out of a desire to create deliciously decadent, gluten free, frozen desserts containing no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives" and that "our ice cream cakes are made in small batches in our 'frozen bakery' using only the finest ingredients and freshest dairy." It appears that Abilyn's may have expansion plans in mind, as a page within the Dribbble site mentions that the shop has a goal of "becoming a national brand."

Chilly Cow first opened approximately 10 years ago, replacing a location of J.P. Licks.
