Patchy Drizzle Brings Humidity to New England

Today (Tuesday): Becoming mild and humid. Clouds to breaks of sun. Highs in the 70s.
Overnight Tuesday Night: Areas of fog and clouds. Lows in the 60s.
Wednesday: Warm and humid, clouds to some sun. Highs in the lower 80s.

High pressure that fed cool air in from Canada on Sunday and Monday is all done on Tuesday.

High pressure to the south now brings in new air from the south. Increasing wind from the southwest at 10 to 20 mph should break up the clouds Tuesday.

After a mostly cloudy start, breaks of sun should emerge by lunchtime and bump temperatures into the 70s by afternoon. Tuesday's temps will be in a new air mass that will establish in New England through Wednesday for most, meaning mild times continue through the midweek.

Cool air settling southward into the North Country later Wednesday sets up a clash of air between warm and cool by Thursday. That clash will likely ensure rain. However, moisture from the remnant of Hurricane Michael, which is currently a Category 2 hurricane, is an additional twist with the potential for heavier rain and perhaps (but not likely) some wind.

Rain should exit Friday early morning and give way to drier conditions for at least the start if not entirety of the upcoming weekend, with fall air for the end of the exclusive Early Warning Weather 10-day forecast.
