Hillary Rodham Clinton is planning the first major speech of her Democratic presidential campaign in New York City. It will have the air of a campaign kickoff event, though she's been running since April.

Aides say that in her June 13 address at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park, Clinton will describe her vision for the country and attempt to frame the themes of her candidacy. They say she's long been inspired by the work of Roosevelt and his wife, Eleanor Roosevelt, who used federal programs to pull the country out of the Depression.

After her address, Clinton will make stops in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, and South Carolina. Since launching her presidential campaign in April, she's traveled the country holding small roundtable events and raising money.

Following her launch, she will return to New Hampshire on Monday, June 15, continuing her conversation with Granite Staters.
