Where to Find Cooling Centers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire

MASSACHUSETTS

Agawam: The Agawam Library, 750 Cooper St., and the Agawam Senior Center, 954 Main St., are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. as cooling centers.

Auburn: A cooling center will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Auburn Senior Center. Anyone with questions can call the senior center at 508-832-7799.

Boston: Cooling centers are open at Boston Centers for Youth and Families locations around the city. Click here for a full list.

Brockton: Cooling centers will be open through Thursday between noon and 6 p.m. at the community room of the Belair Towers at 105 Belair St. and the community room of the A building of the Campello high rise at 1380 Main St. Seating capacity is approximately 50 people. Food will not be provided.

Easton: A cooling center will open at Frothingham Memorial Hall, 15 Barrows St., from 4 to 8 p.m. It will remain open until Friday, July 6, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If additional days are needed, an announcement will be made.

Foxborough: Cooling centers are open at the Foxborough Senior Center, 75 Central St., and the McGinty Room in the Foxborough Public Safety Building, 8 Chestnut St. The senior center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but the McGinty room is open 24 hours.

Holyoke: Coolings centers are open at the Holyoke Public Library, 250 Chestnut St., from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Holyoke Community Library, 303 Homestead Ave., from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and at the Holyoke Council on Aging, 291 Pine St., from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Northampton: The Lilly Library, 19 Meadow St., will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Senior Center, 67 Conz St., will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as cooling centers.

Rutland: A cooling center is open at the Rutland Fire Station, 240 Main St., from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Rutland Public Library will also be available to cool down during regular business hours.

Springfield: Cooling centers are open at the Brightwood Library, 359 Plainfield St., East Forest Park Library, 122 Island Pond Road, The East Springfield Library, 21 Osborne Terrace, the Library Express at Pine Point, 204 Boston Road, the Mason Square Library, 765 State St., the Sixteen Acres Library, 1187 Parker St., and the Forest Park Library, 380 Belmont Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m., and the Indian Orchard Library, 44 Oak St., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Raymond A. Jordan Senior Center, 1476 Roosevelt Ave., will also be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Hudson: The Ann Seabury Conference Room at the Hudson Police Department, 1 Constitution Drive, will be open as a cooling center. Anyone with questions can call 603-886-6011.

Pelham: The Pelham Library will be open at 10 a.m. as a cooling location.
