Cops: Man Yelled Profanities, Assaulted Cops at Trump Event

A New Hampshire man is facing charges after yelling profanities during a campaign event for presidential hopeful Donald Trump and assaulting officers as he was escorted away, according to Manchester Police.

Tyler McMullen, 23, of Derry, is accused of fighting with three security officers at the event Wednesday night at Manchester Community College.

Police say he punched one security officer in the face and pulled his tie as he was being escorted from the event. He then allegedly spit in an officer's face and continued to shout profanities in Trump's direction.

He is being charged with one count of disorderly conduct and two counts of simple assault. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is due back in court on July 22.
