One of Cambridge's Last Remaining Dive Bars is Closing

One of the few remaining dive bars in Cambridge may be shutting down.

According to a source, Courtside on Cambridge Street in East Cambridge is planning to close, with a few social media thread mentioning this as well, including one poster saying what our source said, that it could be shuttering as early as today. The closure of the bar appears to be connected to an accessibility issue, though we are trying to confirm the exact details of this issue, so stay tuned for updates.

Courtside is a decades-old bar that is known in part for its weekend karaoke; the Manta site indicates that it dates all the way back to 1943.
