DA: Man Charged in Deadly Lowell Home Invasion Stole Video Game Console

A man charged in a deadly home invasion in Lowell, Massachusetts, took a video game system from the crime scene, according to authorities.

The Middlesex County District Attorney's Office says 41-year-old Samundi Cobb was arraigned Friday on charges of armed assault. Forty-year-old Saro Mann of Lowell was badly hurt in a home invasion. He was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Prosecutors say Cobb stole a safe and video game console from the Walker Street home. Those items were allegedly found in Cobb's trash.

While the DA's office refers to the incident as an apparent homicide, murder charges have not been filed.

The case remains under investigation.
