Man Found Shot in Dorchester Hotel Lobby Dies; Gunman Sought: PD

A man found suffering from a gunshot wound in the lobby of a Boston hotel has died, police said Tuesday.

The man was found lying in the lobby of the Ramada by Wyndham Boston in Dorchester late Monday night. He died of his injuries at a local hospital.

Authorities responded to the scene after receiving a report of a person shot at 11:46 p.m. outside the hotel.

An investigation is underway.

Police did not identify the victim and a description of the gunman was not immediately available.
