Discussing the Political, Economic, and Cultural Issues Facing the 2018 Olympics

The Olympic games are always surrounded by some degree of political, economic, and cultural controversies. With the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea, there is a myriad of issues, especially given the complexity of neighboring North Korea's relationship with the world.

NBC10 Boston reporters Audrey Asistio, JC Monahan, and Brian Shactman, who are covering the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, and Jonathan Choe were joined by Dr. Katharine Moon, an expert in Korean relations, to discuss the multitude of topics facing the 2018 Olympics.

We had the group meet at Korean Gardens in Allston, Massachusetts to address the issues surrounding the Winter Games in Pyeongchang.
