A driver was taken to the hospital after a large tree came crashing down on his car while he was driving in Derry, New Hampshire.
Officials responded to the area of 401 Island Pond Road around 10:27 a.m. Saturday for a motor vehicle crash.
The driver was the only occupant and sustained what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. He was taken by Derry Fire paramedics to a local hospital.
The tree caused substantial damage to the passenger side of the roof of the vehicle.
Officials say this could have been a lot worse if someone else had been in the car given that more of the damage was done to the passenger side.
