E. Coli Prompts Boil Water Order in Lebanon, NH

A boil water order is in effect Thursday in Lebanon, New Hampshire, after samples tested positive for E. coli and coliform.

Officials learned of the contamination around noon and informed the public.

Because fecal coliform bacteria could be in the water, it should not be consumed without boiling.

More information about E. Coli is available on the website for the Centers for Disease Control.
