Massachusetts authorities said no one was found in an icy bog following a two-hour search after a report someone fell through the ice Thursday in Marshfield.

Massachusetts authorities said no one was found in an icy bog following a two-hour search of the water after they received a report of a person who fell through the ice.

Two dozen divers were unable to find anyone in the water of the Marshfield bog after receiving an initial report of a hockey player on the ice with a black bag and hockey stick, according to the town's fire chief.

Divers weren't able to find the items described in the 911 call, either, after searching for a few hours.

Marshfield Fire Chief William Hocking said authorities are assuming that if someone was able to get themselves out of the water, which only reached four feet deep, they got themselves out.
