A New Hampshire woman was killed early Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Plaistow.
Police responded to the crash along Main Street at 1:15 a.m. where 22-year-old Ashley Cournoyer, of Kingston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said a preliminary investigation determined that Cournoyer was driving southbound when the Honda CR-V she was driving somehow left the roadway and went into a heavily wooded area and struck a tree.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
