A female driver was killed after the car she was operating hit a utility pole and rolled over Saturday in Harwich, Massachusetts, local police say.
Police say the single-vehicle crash occurred just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Long Pond Drive and Oak Street.
The identity of the driver has not been released.
Police asked drivers to seek alternate routes and said the area would remain closed for an extended period of time.
Police and the Cape Cod Reconstruction Team are investigating the crash.
