A brand new restaurant and bar with a name from the past has come to downtown Boston, and as reported earlier, it takes over the space where another dining and drinking spot had been.
Eater Boston states that Finn McCool's is now open in the former Julep Bar space on High Street, with the new spot focusing on gastropub fare and "ice cold cocktails that are unapologetically Boston." Last year, we had mentioned that the owners of Finn McCool's are from Arizona and that they are also opening Bistro 131 around the corner in the space where Broad Street Riot had been.
A bar named Finn McCool's had once been located on Chatham Street near Faneuil Hall a number of years ago; there is no connection between the two places.
