It looks like a new Italian restaurant is on its way to a city that is known in part for its Italian dining spots.
According to an article from Wicked Local, Fiore Italy is planning to open in Medford, with the Salem Street eatery getting approval from the City Council earlier this week. The post mentions that the place will be a "non-traditional" Italian restaurant, and that owner Andrea Dilorio plans to have it open for dinner service only at first, with lunch service being added at a later date. If all goes well, Fiore Italy could be opening up in the next two to three weeks.
Based on the address given, it appears that Fiore Italy will be moving into the Lantana Cafe space, though this still needs to be confirmed.
The address for Fiore Italy will be 417 Salem Street, Medford, MA, 02155.
