A Cambridge gastropub will soon be closing to make way for new development.
According to an article in The Boston Globe, Firebrand Saints in Kendall Square is shutting down on October 15, as MIT's Kendall Square Initiative will bring about new construction to the Broadway space where the restaurant and bar currently resides. Owner Gary Strack tells the Globe that Brick & Mortar and Central Kitchen--two Central Square spots that he runs--will remain in operation.
Firebrand Saints, which first opened approximately six years ago, has been known in part for its modern and classic American fare along with its extensive beer and cocktail list.
The address for Firebrand Saints is 1 Broadway, Cambridge, MA, 02142. Its website can be found at: http://firebrandsaints.com/
