    Family Flees Roslindale House Fire

    A family has been displaced after a blaze ripped through their two-story home in Roslindale. (Published Friday, Aug. 24, 2018)

    A family is now looking for a new home and two firefighters were hospitalized with minor injuries following a fire Friday morning in Roslindale.

    The blaze was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. at a 2-story home on Clare Avenue. Two adults and four children were able to escape the flames, according to the Boston Fire Department.

    The fire caused an estimated $500,000 worth of damages, fire officials estimated. Arson squads arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
