Gogi on the Block owner Sean Kim is on a mission to make Korean food mainstream.

He's been running his food truck for three years, giving Bostonians a taste of Korean food with his own twist.

The main focuses at the truck are the rice bowls and the wraps, which can be filled with toppings like beef bulgogi and tofu, and customized to the level of spiciness you prefer.

"Our menu is a little different from authentic Korean food," said Kim. "Because Korean food has a really strong flavor to it, and some of them are really spicy. So we try to tone it down to American taste."

All of the meats are bought and marinated every morning. Kim, who used to be a real estate agent, wakes up every morning at 5 a.m. to do the shopping for the truck.

"A couple years ago not many people knew about the Korean food," said Kim. "So I kind of wanted to introduce the Korean food to non-Asian people."
