Free Summer Fun in Boston

If you want to get everything you can out of the summer without breaking the bank, look no further than the official website of the city of Boston.

The city is offering up dozens of musical, cultural, and fun events that are free for the whole family.

The Donna Summer Roller Disco Party is back, happening on City Hall Plaza June 19, with free skate rentals!

This kicks off the mayor's Office of Tourism, Sports, and Entertainment summer 2015 lineup.

And there are a bunch of free concerts.

Different local bands will play in Sam Adams Park in Faneuil Hall on Friday afternoons and the Dorothy Curran Wednesday night concert series is back for a 43rd year with four shows in July and August on City Hall Plaza.

And a variety of local and international talent will perform the best of Latin music and dance July 25 on City Hall Plaza.

And as always, ParkArts is also offering up more cultural events than you could ever get to this summer.

Watercolor painting workshops start next week. Artists of all skill levels can create their own green space inspired works! And throughout the summer, the parks will be transformed into music venues where Latin groups, swing bands and full orchestras will share the stage and get people moving!
