It’s a frosty start this morning in much of New England, but thanks to high pressure from Canada we have plenty of sunshine and light wind today.
Temperatures climb quickly through the 30s and 40s into the 50s, with a few spots touching 60 degrees this afternoon.
For the Head of The Charles Regatta in Boston, the temperature will be 55 degrees by mid-day, with wind from the west and northwest about 10 miles per hour. In many places the wind will go to near calm by late in the day, allowing the temperature to fall quickly this evening. Once again we may have a frost overnight tonight with the mostly clear sky and low temperature in the 30s and 40s.
The forecast is a little bit more complex for tomorrow, as tropical storm Nestor crosses the southeastern United States and may come close enough to bring us some rain in southern New England late later tomorrow.
For most New England tomorrow will have a mixture of sun and clouds with a high temperature in the 50s to lower 60s.
Depending on the track of the remnant of Nestor we may have some wind and rain along the south coast tomorrow night and early Monday, otherwise mostly dry with another cool night, followed by mostly cloudy Monday with a high temperature in the lower 60s.

The remnant of Nestor may linger near the south coast of New England, as a front approaches on Tuesday, with a better chance of rain for most of New England by later Tuesday, high temperature again near 60 degrees.
A front will come through on Wednesday with some downpours for just about all of us, followed by clearing and what looks like a nice Thursday with temperatures in the 60s.
