Gyu-Kaku Plans to Open at The Village at Burlington Mall

A chain of Japanese barbecue spots that just opened its third Boston-area location has now announced that it will open a fourth, and this one is coming to one of the hottest suburbs in the region for dining.

According to a press release, Gyu-Kaku is looking to open at The Village at Burlington Mall, a new outdoor "lifestyle center" in Burlington that is coming to the site of the former Sears automotive center. Once it opens, the new eatery will join others in Cambridge's Harvard Square and Brookline and a brand new one at South Bay Town Center in Dorchester along with more than 50 other outlets in the United States in Canada and many others overseas. Based on the offerings at the other locations, expect to see an array of charcoal-grilled meats available as well as soup, rice, and noodle dishes.

The Village at Burlington Mall will also be home to locations of Caffe Nero, Cava, and Uncle Julio's.
