Back-to-back nor'easters have damaged the Camp Ellis area of Saco, Maine, and have dropped about a foot of snow.
A severe storm that hit last Friday washed out roads and shifted homes off of their foundations. A second storm Thursday kept crews from being able to assess the damage and start serious repairs.
"The erosion is going to take those houses out," said Saco resident Phil Lord.
Other neighbors worry it will be a long time before they see some clean up and wonder if it will ever return to normal.
"It’s just demolished," said Zach Gagnon. "I have no idea how you begin to rebuild that."
The most significant damage is along North Avenue in Saco. The road is completely destroyed and homes along the beach have been compromised.
"You’re just facing the brunt of the weather [here]," said Gagnon.

York County had the most power outages in Maine, with more than 17,000 customers waking up in the dark Thursday.
The jackpot for snow was Sanford. That city measured more than 18 inches of snow before noon.
