Missing Inmate Returns to New Hampshire Facility

A missing inmate has returned to the minimum security facility in Concord, New Hampshire.

A minimum security inmate who was reported missing from the North End Transitional Housing Unit in Concord has returned, the New Hampshire Department of Corrections confirms.

Around 7:30 a.m. on Friday, 37-year-old Cameron Austin Neil of Concord left the facility to go to work and failed to return at his scheduled time of 7:30 p.m. He was placed on escape status around 9:30 p.m.

The inmate was returned to the facility at 3:13 a.m. on Saturday. No further details were available.

According to the Department of Corrections, Neil was sentenced to five to 15 years for aggravated felonious sexual assault. He began serving the sentence in 2005.
