Investigators Revisit Scene of Grisly Peabody Murder for Evidence

Investigators have once again returned to the scene where two people were found brutally murdered inside a Massachusetts home last year to collect evidence.

The search at 13 Farm Ave. in Peabody Wednesday morning was in connection with the February 2017 deaths of 37-year-old Mark Greenlaw and 40-year-old Jennifer O'Connor.

Wes Doughty, 39, and Michael Hebb, 45, were indicted a few months after the deaths.

Prosecutors allege Doughty killed Greenlaw and O'Connor shortly after the couple moved into the house because he thought Greenlaw was going to cut in on his drug business. They say he also sexually assaulted O'Connor. Doughty pleaded not guilty.

Hebb pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact

The crime scene was reportedly so gruesome that investigators did not initially know how many bodies were inside and had to use X-ray equipment to determine the number of victims.

According to the Essex County District Attorney's office, investigators have been at the scene on and off for the past four months.

The investigation is ongoing.
