Kyrie, Gordon, Kawhi? Could Celtics Trade for Leonard?

Kawhi Leonard reportedly wants out of San Antonio, and if he's traded, the Boston Celtics are expected to be one of his top suitors.

Multiple NBA sources are now reporting that Leonard has told the Spurs he wants to be traded this summer, most likely to his hometown Los Angeles Lakers or Los Angeles Clippers. But The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor reports that Boston and the Philadelphia 76ers could also be in the running.

"Expect the Sixers, Celtics, Lakers and Clippers to be the main four teams pursuing Kawhi Leonard, per sources," O'Connor said on Twitter Friday. "Teams with top picks could always jump into the sweepstakes, but the risk would be significant considering Leonard has just one more season left on his contract."

Leonard played in only nine games with the Spurs this past season because of a leg injury. In the 2016-17 season, he averaged a career-high 25.5 points and was third in the MVP voting.
