    Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect Who Shot a Man

    Police in Lowell, Massachusetts are looking for an armed robbery suspect who they say shot a man Saturday.

    Officers responded around 6:30 p.m. to 79 Phoenix Avenue for a man who had been shot during an armed robbery.

    The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

    The suspect is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black ski mask, long brown jacket and green winter gloves.

    Police say the suspect stole a silver Hyundai that was later recovered by Tewksbury police on Interstate 495 north.

    The incident is under investigation.
