Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident Friday night.
It was around 7 p.m. Friday when the driver hit a man on a motorcycle and then drove away from the scene.
The incident happened near the corner of Western Avenue and Park Street.
Police say they have recovered the car involved in the hit-and-run accident, but the driver is nowhere to be found.
The motorcyclist, believed to be a man in his 40s, was rushed to Mass General Hospital for emergency surgery overnight.
There's no update at this time on his condition.
